Chris graduated in Natural Sciences from Christ's College Cambridge in 1981, and since then has enjoyed a varied career within the pharmaceutical industry. He spent twenty years working for major multinational companies, with ten of those years in quality assurance and ten in production and R&D project management. He has a rare blend of expertise in managing interfaces, whether between factories, or between R&D and Production. Since 2001, Chris has been consulting to the industry, focused on quality management and quality systems, and providing services to companies at every stage of development from pre-clinical to post-commercialisation. An analytical chemist by training, Chris is eligible for nomination as a Qualified Person under EU Directives 2001/83/EC and 2001/20/EC.

Chris is a Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) Business Practitioner, enjoys scuba diving, rowing and weight training, and is a practised tinkerer with computers. Married with one son, Chris speaks fluent Spanish.

Chris is pleased to offer auditing services, GMP systems assessments, quality consultancy and project management from his base in the South East of England to clients all over Europe.

Chris is Owner and Director of CMBarnett Pharma Services Ltd, an independent GMP and compliance consultancy.
